UNDERSTANDING THE SERVICE
What the 3D effect means.
Color and shading recreate the visual appearance of a nipple and areola. The effect can suggest depth on flat skin or add color around a reconstructed nipple, but does not create a raised nipple.
This optional service can be explored after mastectomy, reconstruction or other breast surgery.
Color
Planned with your preferences in mind.
Shape & placement
Considered for your individual anatomy.
Expectations
Discussed before you decide.
Cindy discusses color, shape, placement and realistic expectations with each patient before treatment. This elective tattooing service complements, but does not replace, surgical or medical care.
The treating physician advises on medical suitability and timing. Fully healed surgical skin and a medical clearance letter are required before tattooing.

THE PROCESS
Healing comes first.
Surgical skin must be fully healed. A medical clearance letter from your treating physician is required before areola tattooing. Discuss treatment timing with your physician.
